I'm a window cleaner based in Nottingham, and this is my own small business rather than a big national outfit. When you book, I am the one who turns up.
I have spent years working outside on people's homes, cleaning gutters, roofs and exteriors across Nottinghamshire. Window cleaning was always the part I enjoyed most, because the change is instant and customers see it the moment they walk back in the room. So I set up Ryan's Window Cleaning to focus on it properly.
My approach is simple. I quote a fair price, I turn up when I say I will, and I do the whole window rather than just the glass. Frames, sills and your front door are all part of the job. If something is not right, you tell me and I come back and put it right.
I am careful around people's homes too. Gates get shut, plants do not get trampled, and I keep the noise down early in the morning. A lot of my customers are older or work shifts, and small things like that make a difference.
Most of my work comes from people passing my name on to a neighbour, which is the way I like it. It means I have to keep doing a good job to keep going, and honestly that suits me fine.
